Monument Solar

Design your off-grid system

What type of system are your after?

Factory / Standard RV Solar

These systems consist of a number of panels bolted directly to the roof (typically under 1000 watts), and are designed to keep your 12 volt battery topped off and perhaps your fridge running. They are not designed to run microwaves, air conditioners, or any other electronic device which you may consider plugging into a 120 volt wall outlet. The installation consists of mounting the panels to the roof, running the needed wire runs to the battery, and minor electrical work.

Approximate Investment $3,500 - $7,500

Off-grid RV Solar

These systems consist of a number of panels bolted directly to the roof (typically 2000 - 3000 watts), and are designed to keep your 12 volt battery topped off and supply power to your 120 volt system. They are designed to run microwaves, air conditioners, or any other electronic device which you may consider plugging into a 120v wall outlet. The installation consists of mounting the panels to the roof, running the needed wire runs to the battery, and the addition of the upgraded electronics and battery.

Approximate Investment $15,000 - $25,000

Maximized Off-grid RV Solar

These systems build off of the “Off-grid RV Solar Systems” by adding more solar (typically 3600 - 5500 total watts + bifacial gains). To do this, larger bifacial solar panels are suspended across the roof using our proprietary Monument Solar Racking System. This racking system is designed to securely hold the panels just above the highest obstructions on the roof and are made of high grade aluminum and stainless steel.

Approximate Investment $45,000 - $75,000
